About the Role
Farmgirl Flowers is looking for a creative and driven Marketing Communications Specialist to join our team! In this role, you’ll report to the Sr. Manager of Revenue and will be a key contributor in developing and executing marketing campaigns, writing compelling content, managing our social media presence, and coordinating with various teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing activities. In addition to working on-site, this role will require travel to other company locations to collaborate or capture assets for marketing communications and campaigns.
The Marketing Communications Specialist will drive business growth by crafting and launching strategic marketing campaigns that increase traffic and sales and continuously optimizing performance for maximum impact. The most important aspect of this role is the ability to learn the Farmgirl brand voice - which is not sales-y or marketing-y in any way. You’ll be someone who can write like you talk - in an informal, friendly, and inclusive way. We pride ourselves on connecting with our customers as real people (which we all are, right?!), and we need that to show in all the ways and places where we’re showing up with and for them. We’re also looking for someone who can ideate and likes to come up with innovative and fun ideas that are outside of the box. We don’t follow a Marketing 101 playbook, rinsing and repeating the same old ideas over and over again, and hope you won’t either.
In addition to being someone highly creative with super strong written communication skills, the ideal person for this role will have strong organizational skills, be highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, and have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
