JOB TITLE: Marketing Manager (NAM Industrial Retail)
Job Summary:
- Develop, implement, and execute strategic marketing plans to drive growth both through PBE and Retail channels in NAM.
- Implement strategies in collaboration with Retail sales leads to support retailers and create consumer demand through targeted consumer marketing.
- Devise plans with senior sales leads to retain and grow existing customer base as well as develop new sectors and customers.
- Forge relationships at a senior customer level to develop effective plans.
- Propose, plan, and monitor marketing budgets as agreed with Global Brand Director.
- Launch customer-specific and national campaigns to drive product sales, raise brand awareness and promote new products.
- Assume face-to-face liaison with key customers to build relationships and cultivate trust to ensure campaigns are as effective as possible.

Key Responsibilities:
- Devise a robust and strategic promotional plan targeting both direct customers and end-users in both Retail and PBE segments.
- Execute a tailored customer-focused marketing and promotional plan that supports sales targets.
- Manage promotional campaigns inclusive of providing direction to creative agencies, production of required collateral, and owning the customer-facing process in building Axalta's brand.
- Define and manage trade/consumer events as required.
- Efficiently manage the marketing budget to exceed projected results.
- Liaise with sales team to promote influencing campaign message to end-user targets.
- Participate in Supply Chain Demand Planning meetings to translate a broader view of business requirements into promotional activity.
- Collaborate with key account customer base to understand market dynamics and heighten delivery efforts.
- Lead market research to test the viability of new products and offer opportunities for improvement with the Global Product Team.
- Update senior leadership team on progress of marketing activities and report on campaign results.
- Support brand ownership of EGC.
- Assume lead role in communication of product changes affecting the NAM business.
- Support product and sales teams via implementation of price increases in response to market analysis based on competitor pricing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field preferred and/or at least 3-5 years of Retail Marketing experience with Industrial alignment.
- Five+ years of experience in a Retail Marketing role with proven success leading digital initiatives within a global organization.
- Sales/Promotional Retail experience.
- Creative and media planning development.
- Agency management (PR, advertising, graphic design, packaging, digital).
- Proven success in Marketing delivery.
- Effective sales and marketing process implementation.
- Experience in building commercial awareness (margin, business case development)
- Analytical expertise specific to markets, competitor benchmarking and performance tracking.
- Effective new product launch implementation.
- Project management ownership.
- Technical proficiency in MS Project, Excel and Power Point.
- Influencing skills (both internal and external).
- Leadership and team-building orientation.
- Ability to multi-task in project management.
- Value optimization in strategy execution.
- Results-driven ownership in meeting deadlines within budget.
- Travel required: approx. 30%.
