The Opportunity
The Marketing Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in advancing Canopy's Marketing Automation and MarTech strategy. This position will collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales Operations to support campaigns and email marketing activities, develop processes and automation, enhance data hygiene, and analyze performance data. This execution-focused role requires creative problem-solving, strong cross-functional skills and the ability to transform concepts into minimum viable products, eventually progressing to best-in-class solutions.
This is a hybrid position in South Jordan, Utah (M, W, F in-office).
What You'll Do:
- Work closely with multiple teams across marketing, as well as the RevOps team to build reports,
- Coordinate with teams across the marketing organization to continue to build out and maintain our marketing automation, reporting, analytics, marketing attribution, database strategy and audience segmentation.
- Build campaign operations such as promos, events, webinars, etc. in Hubspot, Salesforce, and other platforms in our martech stack.
- Manage lead list imports and post-event operations.
- Troubleshoot to identify issues and solutions to campaign operations and lead management.
- Manage urgent requests and coordinate their execution or fulfillment..
- Contribute with knowledge and execution to marketing operations projects
- Manage our marketing technology stack, including Hubspot
- Manage the lead funnel process, and provide recommendations and enhancements as needed, and ensure a tight integration with Salesforce.com.
- Coordinate with our Creative team and Development team to maintain and iterate our website and other web properties.
- Proactively identify opportunities for measuring and tracking outcomes for the marketing team.
What We're Looking For:
- 3+ years of expertise using a marketing automation platform
- Strong familiarity with Salesforce.com and Hubspot, specifically building reports and dashboards and helping teams to analyze that data and provide recommendations and best practices.
- Experience in creating and managing technical aspects of key marketing processes and systems used to generate, nurture, distribute, and report on leads.
- Ability to drive website development forward as new functionality is needed or existing functionality breaks.
- Experience integrating key technologies into the marketing tech stack.
- Ability to provide guidance in the software purchase process for the marketing team, to ensure that the software will integrate to the existing tech stack.
- Passionate about technology and early stage startups, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong cross-functional skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept through completion.
- Attention to detail coupled with a passion for automation, process, data and analytics is essential in this role to help establish and fine-tune the systems and processes tied to marketing measurement, and marketing infrastructure required to execute a scalable marketing plan for a rapidly growing business.

Interviewing @ Canopy:
We know application processes can be a little stressful. Here's are the stages of a typical interview process:
- Once your application is received, we will review it and get back to you if we feel like it's a mutual fit!
- 20 minute phone call with the People Team
- 45-60 minute video or in-person interview with the Hiring Manager
- 1-3 rounds of interviews depending on the role
