Description
Permanent position for a Market Research Project Associate to collaborate with project managers and consultants with in-depth market research and analysis, project delivery and proposal assembly.
Position is with a provider of expert technical and commercial chemical-process driven developments through subscription and membership programs, training, and publications.
Supervise project contributions, ensuring tasks are defined, schedules are managed and deliverables progress smoothly.
Build and extend relationships with clients through membership program management.
Utilize database information to monitor industry trends, current topics and developments, develop business intelligence on the competitive landscape and company websites and press releases, and process information to create project reports.
Use proprietary databases, company websites, press releases, and market-research tools to stay at on top of industry trends.
Establish and grow areas of technical and commercial expertise in several areas of catalytic processes and catalyst industries.
Create, revise, maintain, and manage technical databases and templates, ensuring they are user-friendly and capture all relevant data.
Technical selection of articles to develop abstracts for membership and subscription communications and publications.
Requirements
BS Science or Engineering preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience with chemical process related industry experience.
Experience with market research or market analysis, project management, and business development.
Self-motivated, detail oriented with excellent communication skills.
Proficient in market research databases (i.e
Profound, Lexis-Nexis, Dialog Chem, Delphion, Science Direct, etc.).
Experience with MS Office Suite, with strong Excel skills.
Open to occasional travel for conferences and direct client meetings.
