We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mass Tort Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plaintiff paralegal work, specifically in personal injury and plaintiff firm settings. This role will involve handling complex tasks such as client intake, screening, gathering and organizing medical records, managing plaintiff fact sheets, and drafting legal documents. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a deep understanding of legal procedures.

Responsibilities:
1. Conduct initial client intake and screening to assess the potential for a mass tort claim.
2. Gather and organize medical records, case-specific questionnaires, and other relevant information for each plaintiff.
3. Manage plaintiff fact sheets and ensure they are completed accurately and timely.
4. Draft, review, and revise legal documents including complaints, motions, and discovery responses.
5. Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation.
6. Utilize case management software to track and manage all case details.
7. Prepare and file documents electronically using various electronic filing systems.
8. Collaborate with attorneys to prepare for trial, including witness preparation, trial exhibits, and trial binders.
9. Maintain professional interactions with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other members of the legal community.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably within a plaintiff firm.
2. Profound knowledge and experience in personal injury and mass tort cases.
3. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and case management software.
4. Experience with electronic filing systems and procedures.
5. Exceptional skills in drafting legal documents, preparing complaints, motions, and discovery responses.
6. Excellent research skills and the ability to conduct comprehensive legal research.
7. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. A paralegal certificate is required. An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field is preferred.
9. Comprehensive understanding of legal procedures and court rules.
10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
11. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
