Master Mechanic - Horsham Center for Jewish Life

Horsham Center for Jewish Life of North Wales, PA is seeking a Building Engineer to assist in the general maintenance of the facility and equipment.

Monday – Friday Schedule 7am-3pm

Job Responsibilities

• Self-starter with the ability and motivation to work independently with minimal direction.
• Operate building systems, including but not limited to; HVAC, BAS, Refrigeration, Fire and Life Safety systems.
• Completes maintenance and repair records as required
• Have strong, demonstrated experience operating and troubleshooting HVAC systems and controls, High Efficiency Condensing Boilers, and Refrigeration Equipment.
• Develop and maintain a courteous and service-oriented rapport with all customers (building occupants, vendors, and co-workers)
• Have demonstrated proficiency and experience in utilizing current technology tools (hardware and software)
• After hours on-call emergency response
• Possess clear and effective written and verbal communications skills
• Participate in snow removal, as necessary

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience is required; healthcare experience is highly desirable
• 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
• Able to perform the physical requirements of the position; climbing ladders, bending, stooping, lift/carry minimum of 50 pounds, raise arms over head, perform overhead work, work effectively at heights
• Available to work occasional overtime and provide after hours on-call emergency response
• Ability to pass background screen and drug test and must be bondable
• Familiar with BAS Systems
• CFC License, and refrigerant licenses preferred
