Position Summary | UNMs UtilityServices has a great opportunity for Master Utilities Maint/Mech to join ourteam. The qualified candidate will perform and inspect preventive maintenanceand repairs to utility production units and distribution systems, ensuring thatall work is completed within industrial standards and codes. Leads assignedstaff in preventive maintenance and repair of utility plant equipment andmachinery in the absence of the maintenance supervisor Utilities Divisionmaintains the Universitys district energy system providing electricity, steam,chilled water and domestic water through its own distribution systems. |

Minimum Qualifications | High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of trades experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.Certification/LicensureCurrent New Mexico Journeyman's Plumbing / Gas (JPG) licensure and one of the following New Mexico Mechanical Contractor's Licensure MM98, MM1, MM2 or MM4. OR Current New Mexico Refrigeration Licenses (JR), EPA Universal Refrigerant Recovery Certification, one other current trade related New Mexico Journeyman Licensure and one of the following New Mexico Mechanical Contractor's License MM98, MM3 or MM4. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
