Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team. This position is for the 1st shift, working from 7:30am-4:30pm or 11am-8pm. Initially, the role will focus on a special cycle counting project involving physical inventory and cycle counts. Long-term responsibilities will include receiving, packing, and general warehouse duties.
Responsibilities
+ Accurately pick, break down (parts and cardboard), and QC orders to provide to production and customers in a timely fashion.
+ Use Chromebook and RF scanner to pull orders and manage inventory control.
+ Assist other departments with item requests by restocking bins and shelves with parts from receiving carts, receiving area, and return to stock shelf.
+ Package and perform quality control of systems and parts for shipping.
+ Check in RMAs (return to manufacturer) and RTVs (return to vendor), and report damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement, and record-keeping.
+ Ensure products are received from vendors in a timely and accurate manner.
+ Prepare skids for freight shipment, including wrapping and strapping.
+ Contribute ideas and participate in monthly meetings.
+ Complete semi-annual inventories and weekly cycle counts.
+ Perform any other project or workload as designated by the manager.
+ Mandatory overtime may be required during peak times of the year.
Work Environment
Our facility is temperature controlled, very organized, and extremely clean. Employees can wear casual attire and use headphones during their shifts. The large cafeteria provides free healthy snacks and drinks, and there are recreational activities available for use during breaks.
