We are now hiring an experienced Material Handler for our Warehouse
SUMMARY
This position is primarily responsible for moving pallets inside the warehouse from one department to another. This position is also responsible for loading and unloading of freight carriers with our product, raw materials, maintenance items, molds, pallets, etc. while keeping warehouse organized and cleaned on a daily basis by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Moves product from molding department into warehouse.
Unloads product off of freight carriers being delivered to Company.
Organizes and cleans of warehouse, loads product on to freight carriers set up by DaVinci or carriers set up by our customers.
Checks forklift on a daily basis.
Keeps maintenance informed of forklift issues.
ACCOUNTABILITY:
Ensuring correct pallets are loading on to freight carriers. Pulls all packing slips off of product unloaded from freight carriers and delivered to Warehouse Manager. Ensures product moved from Molding has been checked per the transfer sheet.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
