Material Handler Position Summary:
Material Handlers are responsible for handling all raw material including inspecting, storing, issuing, and staging. The responsibilities also include processing of material returns, and inventory control.

Material Handler Position Summary:
Material Handlers are responsible for handling all raw material including inspecting, storing, issuing, and staging. The responsibilities also include processing of material returns, and inventory control.
Shifts Available:
- 6th: 6:30am-7pm Monday-Wednesday, every other Sunday
Material Handler Duties and Responsibilities:
- Issuing and staging of material for production
- Mix, blend, dry and color raw materials in accordance with bill of material
- Providing material and paperwork to production
- Assemble and disassemble drying equipment for material change overs
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness of material during production runs
- Maintaining inventory control
- Read and complies with work instructions, set up sheets, and checklists
- Enter production information into the ERP system on a timely basis
- Accurately records and reports hours worked
- Maintain an organized work area (5S) to include workstations, equipment, walkways, and locker rooms
- Participate in the Operational Excellence Program
- Understand and complies with the Cretex professional competencies, company policies, and employee manual
- Adhere to all safety policies; includes wearing personal protective equipment when required
- Support and complies with the company's Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements
- Complete all other work duties as assigned
Material Handler Requirements:
- Knowledge of machinery and equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot issues
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of basic math concepts and skills
- High School Diploma
- Ability to read, comprehend, follow and document work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training documents
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Dexterity and hand and eye coordination
- Attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to take direction from the area manager
- Ability to collaborate and assist team members, provide input to the area lead, and attend and participate in meetings
- Ability to cross train in other areas of production when required
Material Handler Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience with ERP systems
- Forklift experience/training
