We are looking for a mechanic to help in a mechanic shop
This person will be servicing company vehicles as well as automobiles that come into the shop to be repaired
This position is for temporary coverage with the opportunity to turn into an evaluation to hire


Essential Functions:

• General automotive care maintenance including lube and oil changes, fluid flushes, filters, tune-ups, etc.
• Brake services and ABS system diagnoses and repairs
• Transmission services-may be required to rebuild
• Computer systems diagnose as well as drivability/run ability concern
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to communicate technical concerns and necessary repairs to customers and other associates
• Basic math skills and capable of writing up cost estimates on repairs to be given to custom
• Ability to legibly document repair work performed on forms
• Self-motivation and continuous learning of automotive advancements/technology

Job Requirements:

• ASE Certification preferred or ability to obtain
• High School diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license w/clean driving abstract
• 2+ years of experience in automotive repair or related work
• Diesel experience is a plus
• Safe, working knowledge of shop tools and equipment
• Must be reliable and able to work a flexible schedule depending on business needs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, grip, handle, lift/carry, and push/pull up to 60 Pounds the majority of the work day

Pay $21-$26 per hour DOE
