Mechanical Assembler - Ultimate Staffing Services

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join a client in Newark. This is a temp-to-hire role.

Hours for the position are Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 5:30 pm. Fridays 8:00 am - 3:00 pm. 40 hours total for the week.

Job Duties:

• Assemble products based off instructions and drawings.
• Work off schematics, bill of materials and wiring diagrams.
• Connect components to printed circuits and connect wires to components and terminals.
• Mount assembled components such as resistors, transistors.
• Utilize hand tools such as crimpers, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, solders, cements and press fixes.
• Some soldering under a microscope.
• Troubleshoot and fix defected products.
• Rework and repair units when needed.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Continuous quality checks throughout assembly process.
• Some hand soldering utilizing a soldering iron.
• May perform other assembly tasks such as color coding, epoxy, potting.

Requirements:

• Ability to physically perform job duties.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• High School Diploma.
