About the Job
Our local client has an opening on their team for a Mechanical Assembler. This is a temporary position in the Saratoga, NY area with the possibility for full-time with the right candidate.
Responsibilities of the Mechanical Assembler will include:
- Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints and diagrams
- Identify and report product defects
- Utilize handheld tools to assemble components
- Assemble equipment and products according to engineering specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe working area
- Perform all work in accordance with outlined quality standards and establish safety procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications of the Mechanical Assembler:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to read a ruler
- Must be able to lift 70 lbs
- Able to work independently or with a team
- Mechanical assembly experience is required or previous experience in the Construction Field
- Basic reading skills and ability to follow directions
- Detail oriented and deadline driven
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to perform work safely, accurately, and thoroughly with a level of detail
Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $18-22/hr.
