Mechanical Engineer - Judge Group

The Judge Group has partnered with a global, publicly traded manufacturer to identify a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team in Bloomfield, New Mexico.  The role will be highly-visible, reporting directly to the site Plant Manager and will be the site’s ‘Engineering-Expert’.  Our client is targeting an Engineer that can wear several hats:  Product Design, Performing Engineering Calculations, 3D Model Creation, Capital Project Planning, etc.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to continue to grow their career in Mechanical Engineering – with numerous future growth opportunities within the organization. 

Duties & responsibilities:

• Working with current designs through the use of AutoCAD 3D 

• Performing minor calculations such as (weights)  

• Using existing spreadsheets for the completion of calculations 

• Copying and completing datasheets for parts procurement 

• Assist designers to obtain 3D vendor drawings of parts 

• Creates 3D Models from existing equipment for submittals to the Client 

• Organizing specifications and drawings in the proper place for Engineering team to review 

• Assist in creating/copying proposal drawings on time 

• Answering minor questions on equipment design 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• 1-3 years Engineering Experience in a Manufacturing setting
