Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Provide operational support by troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing rotating equipment, especially pumps.
- Perform hydraulic analysis to resolve equipment issues and support system reconfiguration.
- Collaborate with project managers throughout the lifecycle of capital and maintenance projects, ensuring proper pump specifications and hydraulic systems.
- Implement and oversee rotating equipment reliability programs, focusing on improving mean time between failures (MTBF).
- Support emergency pump repairs and manage external contractors during repair and upgrade projects.
- Conduct performance audits for pump vendors to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and execute strategies for critical spare parts management to enhance equipment reliability.
- Provide training and support to teams on hydraulic systems and rotating equipment to enhance operational knowledge.
What you need for this position:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with pump systems, hydraulics, and rotating equipment in an operational setting.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic calculations and rotating equipment reliability programs.
- Experience with pipeline and terminal operations is preferred.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and commissioning of pumps and related mechanical systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to train and mentor team members.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% for field work and project support.
