Job Description
Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to design, manufacture, and assemble prototypes of soft wearable electronic devices
Apply sound engineering and design principles for manufacturing of novel sensor integrations in wearable electronics
Communicate with vendors on DFM and Manufacturing of designs for prototype builds
Collaborate with researchers and engineers to rapidly prototype hardware solutions, iterate, and run experiments.

Skills and Requirements
BS in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
4+ years of experience in designing hardware prototypes, preferably in wearable consumer electronics, or a similar field
Knowledge of the design process for high-volume consumer products from concept to manufacturing
Average or higher experience with CAD modeling [Siemens NX preferred]
Physical prototyping experience
Experience with FPC/PCB design
Demonstrated experience with Design for injection molding and 3D printing Knowledge of Camera integration, Sensor Integration, Elastomer design, Haptic devices, or Textile Manufacturing.
Experience developing wearable consumer electronics
Hands-on prototyping with molding and casting of elastomers or industrial processes such as Liquid Injection Molding.
Experience collaborating and communicating effectively on multi-disciplinary teams
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment null
