We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer for our client, a powerhouse manufacturer of heavy equipment. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex design projects and become a subject matter expert in the field. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and a passion for designing innovative solutions for heavy machinery.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed designs for heavy equipment, ensuring they meet industry standards and client specifications.
- Conduct simulations and stress analysis to validate design concepts and ensure structural integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, schematics, and documentation to support manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues during the manufacturing and testing phases.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate best practices into design projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on the design of heavy machinery.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools.
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
