This full time, permanent Mechanical Engineer with Sanitary Piping SolidWorks Design experience opening is at a growing, diverse, custom structural, system and metal component manufacturer. Customers are diverse and include biotechnology, food and pharmaceutical companies. The company promotes from within and does not hold employees back from growing their skillset and careers. If an employee has the aptitude and drive they can advance to a project management role. This position is available due to continued company growth due to demand for company products. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate are as follows:
- Creating detailed, custom 3D SolidWorks drawings
- Taking direction from and working closely with project managers and project engineers
- Creating bills of materials
The background of the successful candidate must include the following:
- One or more years of 3D SolidWorks design experience with sanitary piping in the biotechnology, food and/or pharmaceutical industries
- An engineering degree (or an additional year of 3D SolidWorks design experience)
- A proficiency or a willingness to gain proficiency with electrical controls and fluid mechanics
- A solid work history
- A US citizen or possess a green card
- A residence within 45 minutes
