Mechanical Engineering Intern - Worthington Industries

Worthington Enterprises is seeking an engineering intern to assist with projects within the Consumer Products engineering group. Interns will work with Project Engineers and Design Engineers on projects that support various manufacturing facilities. Tasks may include making product and packaging drawings, working on process improvements within one of our manufacturing facilities, and creating equipment technical documentation. Interns will have the opportunity to work with a variety of products for cylinders which serve the following industries: LPG (liquefied petroleum gas), refrigerant, industrial and specialty gases, and more.

Qualifications

• Able to work full time (40 hrs/week) during the summer semester
• Proficient in SolidWorks 3D modeling and detail drawing
• Experience with detail drawing in AutoCAD
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• 2nd or 3rd year engineering student preferred
