Mechanical Engineering Intern - AW-Lake

About the Job
As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, your primary responsibilities will be to review and update CAD drawings to current standards. Creating new drawings and parts using Solidworks. Coordinating changes and updates with other departments. Helping to evaluate existing Engineering and Production processes for improvements, creating the necessary documentation and workflows for the changes. Coordinating Engineering drawings with Quality to improve quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Create processes and document plans
- Create flow chart of process plan
- Create inspection drawings
- Work with quality team to create work instructions, quality processes and inspection reports
- Review of existing drawings
Position Requirements
- Solidworks experience
- Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Outlook
- Current enrollment in an engineering program

- Strong organizational and communications skills
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Incorporate academic knowledge into hands-on work

This is an on-site position located in Oak Creek, Wisconsin.
