Farnsworth Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern - January 2025 in our Peoria, IL office. You will have the opportunity to expand your mechanical engineering knowledge and work with a team of experienced mechanical engineers on a variety of mechanical engineering related projects. The Mechanical team’s projects focus on commercial, educational, recreational, banking, and local & federal government facilities, both new construction and renovation work.







Job Activities:





+ HVAC and Plumbing design for various projects



+ Preparation of construction documents



+ Cost estimating and permitting



+ Construction administration



+ Revit and AutoCAD software packages



+ Observing construction at various job sites



+ General project and office/ field support





Specific Requirements:





+ Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program



+ Revit and/or AutoCAD experience would be beneficial



+ Computer proficiency with MS Office, Excel and Word



+ Strong written and oral communication skills
