Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop HVAC systems for a wide range of construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
2. Utilize 3D Revit or equivalent software to create detailed, accurate models of HVAC systems.
3. Collaborate closely with architects, project managers, and other engineers to integrate HVAC systems into overall building design.
4. Conduct detailed calculations to determine system specifications and requirements.
5. Prepare and present detailed reports and design documents to stakeholders.
6. Oversee the installation, testing, and maintenance of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
7. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure our designs are innovative, efficient, and compliant.
8. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
9. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HVAC systems design and functionality.
10. Participate in project meetings and provide expert advice on HVAC systems design and implementation.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HVAC systems design, preferably in the construction industry.
3. Expertise in using 3D Revit or equivalent software for designing HVAC systems.
4. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including design principles, installation procedures, and maintenance techniques.
5. Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
7. Proficiency in interpreting and creating technical drawings and specifications.
8. Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to HVAC systems.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
10. Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
11. Certification from a recognized industry body, such as the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), is a plus.
