Any candidate that has 7+ days and/or includes holidays will have to be submitted to the facility for approval and can delay the process.Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks*Located at MUSC Health s extension hospital, 8D EH is a 13-bed inpatient adult acute med-surg unit open 24/7. 8D EH is designed to accommodate medical and surgical patients from general or family medicine service lines. The unit serves direct and new admissions coming into the hospital from the ED, post recovery or other inpatient units under the medical-surgical service lines with a variety of diagnoses.Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet HospitalTotal Staffed Beds: 820Scrub Color: All RNs - Solid Royal Blue or White top with Royal blue bottoms.Charting: EPICParking Cost: Parking management office (located 91presidents street) to obtain parking permit. $20 registration fee for a hang tag which will allow use of the garage. No additional fees. Hang tag will not cover parking in any other locations. If parking outside of the 91 Street Parking Garage, additional fees may be incurred.**Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. Radius rule is 60 miles. Locals will be considered at local ratePrevious perm staff(this includes PRN) must be separated from the MUSC system for 1 year before returning as a traveler.South Carolina RN License: MUSC will prioritize candidates that have SC license in hand. We will still consider candidates with a pending license at the time of submission please provide proof that they have applied for the license or confirm that they can complete the SC walk-through process.
