**Job Title:** RN Clinical Nurse - Acute Care Nights **Job Specialty:** Registered Nurse / Licensed - Inpatient **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Night - 6:45 pm to 7:15 am **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience preferred **License:** RN (Single State) or Multi-state Compact **Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) **Must-Have:** - Associate's Degree in Nursing or a graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing - Ability to read, write, and speak English - Basic computer skills **Job Description:** - Perform the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, using evidence-based practices. - Ensure individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care in coordination with an interdisciplinary team. - Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care reflecting population-specific characteristics. - Partner with patients and families to align care with patient goals and provide comprehensive communication and education. - Coordinate and document the delivery of safe and efficient patient care. - Engage in teamwork, collaboration, and performance improvement initiatives. - Support and participate in shared governance and the professional practice of nursing. - Serve as a preceptor or mentor for nurses and other healthcare team members. - Promote evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement in nursing care. - Comply with healthcare policies, legal, and regulatory requirements. - Plan and manage resources efficiently for optimal patient outcomes. - Contribute to protocol development and improvements in patient care processes. - Perform other duties as assigned.
