About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse - Acute Care **Job Specialty:** Registered / Licensed - Inpatient **Job Duration:** 13 months **Shift:** Night (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Less than 1 year; Completion of an accredited/approved school of nursing with requisite clinical hours required; Direct patient care experience preferred **License:** Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact **Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, RN License **Must-Have:** Ability to read, write, and speak the English language; Optimize the use of technology to support clinical care; Basic computer skills; Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills; Customer service skills; Ability to function in a fast-paced environment; Excellent time management skills; Strong critical thinking skills **Job Description:** - Perform the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinical care using evidence-based practice. - Provide relationship-based patient-centered care, adapting service delivery to reflect cultural diversity. - Coordinate care through effective partnerships, ensuring care is individualized and patient goals are the focus. - Document and coordinate the delivery of safe, quality patient care. - Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration, promoting the recruitment and retention of healthcare team members. - Engage in performance improvement initiatives, support nursing research, and uphold clinical competencies. - Serve as a preceptor or mentor for other professional nurses and staff. - Promote evidence-based practice and participate in value analysis processes. - Proactively plan for patient care across the care continuum and support efficient use of resources. - Comply with all health system policies, standards of work, and the code of conduct. **Additional Notes:** Night shift includes every other weekend with 2 major and 2 minor holidays.
