Sanitas Medical Center is hiring a Full-Time Medical Assistant Certified Patient Care Coordinator for our Ocala - Southwest facility in Ocala, FL. This vital role focuses on managing patient flow, scheduling appointments, and providing excellent customer service to ensure a smooth experience for both patients and medical staff.

Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist patients, directing them to the appropriate department or personnel.
• Schedule patient appointments, ensuring proper patient flow and minimizing wait times.
• Verify patient information, update demographics, and collect co-pays.
• Complete necessary insurance and privacy forms, ensuring all required information is gathered.
• Maintain and compile medical charts, reports, and other documents.
• Answer phone calls and route them to appropriate staff.
• Protect patient confidentiality and secure protected health information.
• Monitor patient flow and assist with the daily operations of the office.
• Ensure medical supplies are ordered as needed and support staff in maintaining an efficient workflow.
• Rotate weekends, holidays, and shifts as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience in the medical field required.
• Customer service experience is required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Demands:
This role involves standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 pounds. Ability to handle various physical tasks and maintain focus in a busy environment.
