Job Title: Medical Assistant
Location: Liberty Township. OH
Duration: 13-week contract with possibility of extension or conversion into perm
Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 7:30am – 5:00pm. Off Thursdays 
Pay: $ 700-$800/weekly

Job Summary:

• Maintains patient flow during clinic hours, documenting vital signs and updating medical history in the electronic medical record (EMR). 
• Prepare patient charts by scanning and reviewing diagnostic test results, ensuring all necessary information is available for physician visits. 
• Manages medication refills and pre-authorizations, communicating with patients, pharmacies, and insurance companies as needed. 
• Prepares and maintains examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and fully stocked with medical supplies. 
• Conducts routine diagnostic tests and clinical procedures, including EKGs, vaccinations, and phlebotomy, while adhering to safety and legal regulations. 
• Responds to patient inquiries, schedules appointments, and manages EMR work queues to facilitate efficient office operations. 
• Upholds patient confidentiality and comply with legal and quality standards in the medical assistant role. 

Required:

• BLS- AHA
• MA certificate
