Description
SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the RN Supervisor and/or Program Director, provides operational support to facilitate the delivery of clinical services to patients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
+ Supervises the (self) administration of medication to patients.
+ Transcribes medication orders and monitors medication records for compliance.
+ Perform accurate and complete audits of medication transported, received, administered, stored, or disposed, as trained, and assigned.
+ Maintain patient confidentiality and conduct in accordance with Phoenix House medication policies and procedures.
+ Enter data into computer EMR software.
+ Answering telephones
+ Update and file patient medical records
+ Scheduled appointments
+ Arranging for hospital admissions and laboratory services
+ Correspond with external agencies, pertaining to client(s) as needed.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
+ High School Diploma/GED
+ Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
+ 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
WORK ENVIRONMENT
+ This job operates in an indoor office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
