Position will require working in the clinic during office hours Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Remote schedule will be Monday - Friday 5:00pm - 7:00pm and on Saturday 8:00am - 12:00pm.

Summary:

Presbyterian is hiring a Medical Assistant for the Primary Clinic at the Paradise Clinic. The MA provides primary support to the provider by proactively anticipating the provider needs, preparing the patient for the visit using established patient preparation guidelines, maintaining efficient patient flow, and assisting the provider with treatments and procedures. Provides support for clerical functions to include scheduling, referrals, and prior authorizations. Performs activities to maintain a clean, stocked, safe, and well-organized patient care environment. Provides in-basket support with the EMR.

 

Qualifications:

*Successful completion of Presbyterian MA Advanced Skills Training within 12 months of hire

 

*High School Diploma or GED

 

* BLS required at time of hire.
