Salary Range: $41,600 - $54,080 annually ($20.00 - $26.00/hour based on years of experience)

Job Overview:

The Medical Assistant at the St. Anthony will manage patient flow throughout the clinic and assist providers in managing and treating patients across various age groups, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The Medical Assistant will perform clinical and clerical tasks and collaborate with the health care team to ensure quality care and efficient clinic operations. Tasks will follow the scope of practice as defined by the Minnesota Board of Nursing and the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform clinical tasks such as rooming patients, administering immunizations, injections, and other medications, and collecting laboratory specimens as directed by the provider.
• Provide support for prescription refills, telephone inquiries, and front desk check-in tasks as necessary.
• Assist in x-ray duties if certified and perform phlebotomy duties when required.
• Support the clinic in ordering and stocking supplies and assist with prior authorizations as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and protect patient confidentiality according to established policies.
• Collaborate with the Clinic Supervisor, Clinic Manager, and Providers to meet department goals and patient needs.
