Medical Assistant or LPN - Co-Worker Health - Mercy

Monday - Friday: 6:45 AM - 4:15 PM

No weekends or holidays!

Co-Worker Health Medical Assistant Overview:

• The MA will assess and process patients; perform physical preparations for physician; assist physician as needed.

• Responsibilities include: 

  • Vital Signs

  • Instrument maintenance and prep

  • Stocking exam rooms

  • Documentation (health history, phone encounters, etc.)

Qualifications for Medical Assistant:

• Medical Assistant:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Preferred Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience.
• Certified Medical Assistant:
  
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Certification: Must have active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA). Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications for Co-Worker Health LPN: 

• Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Experience: 2 years hospital or clinical experience.
• Licensure: Licensed as an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) in the state of practice.
