In this role, you will be a vital member of the organization and will play a critical role in ensuring that patients receive the best possible care. The Medical Biller will be responsible for handling medical billing for No Fault and Workers Comp cases, reviewing and processing insurance claims with precision and accuracy, and communicating with insurance companies to resolve any billing disputes with confidence and tact. Additionally, the Medical Biller will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and ensuring all billing is in compliance with current regulations, and staying ahead of the game by staying up-to-date with the latest billing codes and insurance requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in medical billing, with a focus on No Fault and Workers Comp
- Knowledge of medical billing codes and insurance requirements, such as HCPCS, CPT, ICD-10 codes, and insurance carriers.
- Experience with medical billing software
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accuracy
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude
Education:
- Associates Degree in Healthcare related field
- Certified Professional Biller, CPB
This is an In-Person, Onsite role in the Western New York area.
