Northern Pines Mental Health Center is seeking a Mental Health/ MedicalBilling Specialist to join our Financeteam. This is a Full-time position. Hours will typically include daytime, weekday shifts. No weekend coverage required.

Essential Functions include:

• This role will primarily supportAccounts Receivable functions

• Provide education to all staff regarding insurance processes

• Review insurance denials from Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, & Veteran insurance payers taking the appropriate action to get the claims resolved.
• Submit appeals to insurance carriers for billing resolution.
• Initiate contact with insurance carriers & clients for billing resolution.
• Responds to insurance payer requests received.
• Verify client added insurance plans for accuracy.
• Assist with payment posting for all payers
• Assist clients with billing related inquiries
• Provide duty coverage for staff leaves and vacations

Qualifications include:

• High School Diploma or equivalent education
• At least one year of experience in a Medical Billing, Coding, Mental Health or related field
• Valid Driver's License
