Medical Billing - Express Employment Professionals

A local Vahalla company is searching for a Medical Biller who will have core responsibilities in supporting medical office staff and maintaining detailed patient and medical records. Patients, visitors and medical staff will turn to you for information and help with administrative issues. As a Medical Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and processing patient billing and insurance claims. Your role is crucial in ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement for healthcare services provided.
Medical Billing job highlights:
•    Prepare and submit accurate medical claims to insurance companies.
•    Review and verify patient billing information for accuracy and completeness.
•    Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve billing issues.
•    Communicate with insurance companies and patients to resolve billing inquiries.
•    Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
•    Generate and analyze billing reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
 
What we look for in a Medical Secretary:
•    High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
•    Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing or a related role.
•    Proficiency in medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
•    Strong understanding of medical terminology, CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding.
•    Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
