Title: Medical Coding Analyst
Location: Detroit, MI (Remote/Must be local to Michigan)
Duration: 6 Months
Role Type: W2 Contract Engagement
Engagement Description
This role will be assisting with the 2024 HEDIS audit. Work hours will be 08:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday. Some variation on those hours is allowed. There is a mandatory daily 08:45 huddle. Project runs through 05/15/2025. Occasional days off will be approved, but no more than 2 consecutive days and will not be allowed towards the end of the project.
Top 3 Required Skills/Experience
• Experience with HEDIS measures
• Experience reviewing medical records
• Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft products especially Excel
Required Skills/Experience
• Must be able to learn quickly and be a self-starter
• Must be able to utilize technology independently
• Must have exceptional customer service skills and experience speaking to medical offices
Preferred Skills/Experience
• Experience using Inovalon or other HEDIS data entry program
Education/Certifications
• CPC-certified professional coder
