The Hematologic Malignancies Program at MedStar Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center in Washington D.C. is growing rapidly and is seeking a BMT expert to serve as Medical Director for the BMT Disease Group at Georgetown, MedStar System. This position provides the ability to work with an outstanding group of nationally recognized experts in Lymphoma, Myeloma, and Blood and Marrow Stem Cell Transplantation / Cellular Therapy in the only NCI designated cancer center in Washington DC. Excellent research and academic opportunities are offered with the ability to collaborate with its NCI consortium partner, Hackensack Meridian Health John Theurer Cancer Center (JTCC). Together with its consortium partner at Hackensack NJ, the position provides access to a very large patient population and an ideal platform for clinical and translational research in the field. Similarly, the joint clinical research program provides support for BMT studies across the consortium. The successful candidate will lead the BMT disease group and help further develop and grow the established BMT program into a destination site.

Qualifications:
- BC/BE Hematologist with interest in BMT.
