Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Medical File Clerk in Lakewood, Washington, United States. The role primarily involves maintaining and auditing medical records, handling inbound and outbound calls, and ensuring HR compliance within a healthcare setting. Responsibilities: - Maintain and update electronic medical records accurately - Conduct regular audits on medical files to ensure data accuracy - Efficiently manage inbound and outbound calls related to medical records - Track progress of various tasks and cases within the healthcare system - Ensure HR compliance in all tasks and activities related to medical file management - Utilize EHR systems to access and manage patient information - Create and maintain charts and graphs to track and present data - Handle personnel records while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to privacy laws - Perform filing duties, ensuring all records are organized and easy to access - Assist with other related duties as needed within the medical file management scope. Requirements - Proficiency in using EHR SYSTEM for accurate record-keeping and data management - Demonstrable experience in auditing and ensuring compliance with HR policies - Ability to create and interpret charts and graphs for data representation - Track progress of tasks and projects in a systematic and organized manner - Experience in managing and updating personnel records - Proficient in handling Electronic Medical Records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality - Proven experience in filing and organizing documents both physically and electronically - Excellent communication skills for handling inbound and outbound calls professionally and courteously - Knowledge of HR Compliance and its application in the medical field.
