Busy prestigious ENT and Facial Plastic Surgery practice in Boca Raton, FL is looking for a dynamic, energetic seasoned medical office manager who is looking for a full-time Monday - Friday, 8:00-5:00 position. The individual will be working with 3 busy ENT/Facial Plastic surgeon.
This professional candidate must be able to assist and facilitate in planning and analyzing practice operations, growing the practice, optimizing efficiency and fill in where needed.
Summary of responsibilities include:
· Recruiting, interviewing and hiring clerical and clinical staff
· Engaging and motivating staff to achieve personal and organizational goals and objectives
- Manage physician clinical, clerical and surgical schedules for optimal efficiency.
- Ensure the delivery of quality patient care by all staff members.
· Analyzing operational workflows to assure efficiency and best practices
· Implementation and compliance to organizational policies and procedures
· Oversees accuracy of coding, charge capture and posting
· Working knowledge of daily tasks associated with the front and back office
· Assures clinical compliance to OSHA and other state regulations
· Assures staff and providers complete yearly educational requirements as directed by the Compliance department
· Ensures timely completion of payroll and HR functions
· Participates in Management Meetings - Monthly/Quarterly
Qualifications:
· Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Accounting, Finance, Nursing or other related
· Minimum two (2) years' experience in healthcare management
· Understanding of medical office operations sufficient to oversee its operations and provide support to physicians and administrative office
. Cosmetic / Facial Plastics experience a plus
· Skill in exercising a high degree of judgment, discretion and decision making necessary to achieve organizational objectives
· Ability to organize and integrate organizational objectives in order to meet deadlines
· Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in verbal and written forms
Physical Demands:
Coordination, manual, and physical dexterity sufficient to properly and adequately use various items of office equipment as required of the position or directed by the Manager. The position may involve sitting, standing, bending, and stooping.
