This is a true PRN position that will likely require 1-2 shifts per month | As the program grows there will be opportunity for increased hours.
Work Environment: Adolescent and Young Adult Outpatient Treatment Center.
- $80-$85/hour (based on experience).

- Licensed Practitioner in the state of Virginia.
- All direct care staff must be CPR certified prior to beginning employment.
- Active DEA License preferred.
- Previous experience with substance abuse treatment is required; preferred experience with a treatment facility in the detox, residential, partial hospitalization (“PHP”), and/or intensive outpatient (“IOP) setting.
- Ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, including experience with clients from the age of 13 to 30.
- Must feel comfortable working independently.
- Contribute to a high-performing culture, focused on partnering with clients as we inspire and empower change.
- Identifies/provides education to patient/families about current and potential health problems, the treatment plan, self-care, and prevention to achieve independence and maximum wellness.
- Provide medication management services for clients as needed.
- Adhere to all aspects of the clinical program’s policies and procedures to ensure quality performance and assist the Program Director in any quality improvements that may be necessary.
- Contribute to client utilization reviews and medical necessity discussions with insurance payers as needed.
- Partner with clinical team to provide in-services and educational information to family members to support an understanding of dual diagnosis/addictions and treatment strategies.
- To consistently exercise good judgment and adequate emotional stability in evaluating situations and making decisions despite the pressures of deadlines or the occurrence of unexpected stressful events.
