Medical Receptionist - Women’s Health Associates of NWA PLLC

Women's Health Associates of NWA is seeking a full-time medical receptionist for our busy Bentonville location. Our office is growing and looking for a professional and motivated individual to join our team. The medical receptionist is responsible for welcoming and assisting patients and visitors. Primary job duties include greeting patients, checking in/checking out, answering questions, collecting patient co-pays, processing paperwork, scheduling appointments, coordinating incoming telephone traffic, and appropriately managing calls.



Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:

·Provide excellent customer service, by welcoming patients and visitors in the clinic and exceptional telephone etiquette when taking incoming calls

·Examine providers daily schedule's and retrieve patient files, check for correct sequence of documents, and insert new patient forms when needed

·Provide patient assistance by scheduling, canceling, rescheduling appointments or provide general information regarding appointment date, time, instructions, and expectations

·Update any changes to patients' demographics in Electronic Health Record (EHR), under correct tabs

·Follow established policies and procedures when managing different topics

·Verify patient financial records and collect patient charges, such as co-pays, past due balance or pre-payments

·Maintain office inventory and equipment by anticipating supply needs and coordinate re-ordering

·Retrieve incoming faxes, and obtain delivered mail. Open and sort office mail and faxes and distribute to appropriate personnel

·Must be able to multitask and possess critical thinking skills to effectively cross-reference multiple provider schedules

· Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

·Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, experience preferred.
