Job Summary: The Medical Records & Informatics Consultant will be responsible for providing education to the end user to maintain the integrity of the Electronic Health Record. This includes but is not limited to:
- Educate end users on modules within the EHR.
- Conduct new hire and continuing education with end users.
- Conduct audits of EHR usage and prepar and execute Plans of Actions and Corrections.
- Create user access in compliance with HIPAA, company guidelines, and meaningful usage.
- Oversee and support end users at facility level in creating a plan of correction to resolve identified issues to obtain compliance.
- Assist with onboarding process for new communities / facilities.
- All other duties as assigned per the needs to the position and company.
Required Qualifications:
- Must have extensive knowlege and experience with Point Click Care (PCC) and use of computer software.
- Must be able to travel throughout region with reliable transportation.
- Must possess great verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to troubleshoot EHR issues independently
- Ability to communicate professionally with physicians, nurses, care providers, in a positive, encouraging tone.
- Experience in the medical field with a strong knowledge of medical records and training teams preferred.
