Medical Records & Informatics Consultant - Arcadia Care

Job Summary: The Medical Records & Informatics Consultant will be responsible for providing education to the end user to maintain the integrity of the Electronic Health Record. This includes but is not limited to: 

• Educate end users on modules within the EHR. 
• Conduct new hire and continuing education with end users. 
• Conduct audits of EHR usage and prepar and execute Plans of Actions and Corrections. 
• Create user access in compliance with HIPAA, company guidelines, and meaningful usage.
• Oversee and support end users at facility level in creating a plan of correction to resolve identified issues to obtain compliance. 
• Assist with onboarding process for new communities / facilities. 
• All other duties as assigned per the needs to the position and company. 

Required Qualifications: 

• Must have extensive knowlege and experience with Point Click Care (PCC) and use of computer software. 
• Must be able to travel throughout region with reliable transportation. 
• Must possess great verbal and written communication skills 
• Must be able to troubleshoot EHR issues independently 
• Ability to communicate professionally with physicians, nurses, care providers, in a positive, encouraging tone. 
• Experience in the medical field with a strong knowledge of medical records and training teams preferred.
