We are a 250-bed, non-profit regional medical center, the largest in our county.
We are located in broad valley between the pine-forested Hualapai Mountain on the east, and the rugged Cerbat and Black Mountain ranges on the west. Our city offers a great cost of living and proximity to Phoenix and Las Vegas. The residents here are passionate about this part of Arizona because of it's geographic diversity. We are in the perfect location for hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and a launching point for several national parks.
Our average temperature in 2023 was 83 degrees!

Job Details
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic, budgetary, and operational leadership for Medical Staff Services, including staff development and training.
- Manage day-to-day operations, including credentialing, privileging, reappointment, governance, bylaws, policy, and compliance.
- Oversee regulatory compliance, accreditation standards, and updates to bylaws and policies.
- Support system development to enhance clinical performance and care delivery.
- Manage privileging criteria, expiring reports, credentialing software, and intranet content.
- Collaborate with providers and staff to improve provider quality and patient safety.
- Prepare, distribute, and manage documentation, letters, and meeting materials.
- Assist with process improvement and facilitate ongoing communication with privileged providers.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's in Business or related field.
- Experience: 5 years in medical staff administration or similar role.
- Skills: Leadership, team-building, attention to detail, and sound judgment in policy development.
- Knowledge: Regulatory requirements, provider enrollment (Managed Care, Medicare, Medicaid), medical terminology, health plan contracts.
- Abilities: Data analysis, report preparation, strong communication, and relationship-building with providers, staff, and payers.
