CommQuest is seeking a Part-Time Medication Administrator for our women's residential facility located in Canton, OH. The Medication Administrator is responsible for overseeing client medications, ensuring accurate dispensing, maintaining inventory, and keeping precise records. This role supports the medical director and collaborates with clinical teams to ensure compliance with medication protocols and client care.

What you'll do:
- Manage and organize client medications, ensuring accurate inventory and proper storage.
- Assist clients with self-administration of medication doses and document the process.
- Communicate with prescribers regarding medication changes and refill needs.
- Maintain medication cabinets and ensure proper organization.
- Monitor and maintain supplies of over-the-counter medications and other medical necessities.
- Collaborate with clinicians, physicians, and other healthcare providers to address clients' medical needs.
- Monitor clients' responses to newly prescribed medications and notify the medical team of any concerns.
- Additional responsibilities as requested
Schedule:
Part-time, 20/hrs per week. Monday - Friday
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; certification in medical assisting, pharmacy technician, or a related healthcare field preferred.
- Minimum of one to two years in healthcare, pharmacy, or addiction treatment settings, focusing on medication administration and client care.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).
- Certification as a Medication Aide or Pharmacy Technician preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
