Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the resident’s physician, ensuring accurate documentation in line with state regulations.
- Monitor residents' health, report any changes, and collaborate with the Health & Wellness Director, physicians, and family members to provide tailored care.
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, fostering their independence and dignity.
- Follow infection control procedures and maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.
- Uphold residents' privacy, respect, and dignity while supporting their physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Complete required state training upon hire and participate in ongoing education to stay compliant with industry standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: At least one (2) year of caregiving experience in a senior care or healthcare setting.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Basic computer skills for daily documentation.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Completion of state-required Criminal Background Check (LIC 508) and Health Screening Report (LIC 503).
