We are seeking a talented and creative Men’s Designer to join our client’s dynamic Design team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$85k – $100k
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate for the Men’s Designer role will have 4 – 6 years of experience in apparel design with a strong focus on technical design, creative process management, and collaboration
You will be responsible for leading the design process, from concept through development, ensuring innovative and market-relevant products that align with our brand vision.
Responsibilities of the Men’s Designer:
Create sketches, tech packs, 3D renders, and presentations in Illustrator.
Refine sketches and line sheets to meet design goals.
Assist with print editing and internal presentation graphics.
Research trends and competitors to set seasonal design objectives.
Contribute to fabric selection, trend forecasting, and concept development.
Collaborate with Sales, Merchandising, and Marketing teams to design and launch collections.
Manage communication with overseas teams for product development and samples.
Coordinate design projects, ensuring accuracy, timelines, and market alignment.
Source and select fabrics, trims, and materials, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
Maintain a material library and manage sample requests, lab dips, and graphic processes.
Oversee the design process, ensuring adherence to schedules and deadlines.
Track progress, manage production logs, and maintain design archives.
Qualifications for the Men’s Designer:
4 – 6 years of experience in men’s apparel design, with strong technical design expertise.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), CAD, and Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of fabrics, trims, and manufacturing processes.
Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Experience with sourcing and supply chain management is a plus.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design is required.
