Position Overview:
Walter's Auto Group is seeking a full-time Mercedes-Benz Service Advisor to join our team at our Riverside location. As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in shaping our customers' experiences in the service lane. You will be the initial point of contact for customers, adeptly handling their service needs, maintaining knowledge of our product offerings, and facilitating smooth communication between customers and technicians.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee CRM databases to manage communication cycles with customers.
- Direct customers to product information resources and maintain frequent email communication.
- Manage the flow of the Drive Lane, ensuring all customers receive prompt and courteous service.
- Advise customers on necessary routine maintenance and explain repair orders and charges.
- Monitor repair progress, updating customers on any changes to estimates or timelines, and obtain authorization for additional repairs.
- Take ownership of the customer experience, handling tasks to ensure a positive impression.
- Ensure efficient use of technicians' time and distribute work among technicians effectively.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold high standards of customer service.
Requirements:
- Organized and friendly personality with strong time management skills.
- Excellent communication abilities and a professional, well-groomed appearance.
- Clean driving record.
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Previous service advisor experience required; CDK experience preferred.
