SUMMARY
Join us in the Beer & Wine & Spirits Industry on our Republic National Distributing Company Alaska team! As an RNDC Merchandiser, you play a pivotal role from sales to delivery, you are the final stop in getting beverages into our customer’s hands. After the product is delivered to the store, the Merchandiser stocks, rotates, and merchandises our products so they are ready to sell. You work closely with our sales and operations teams to provide exceptional customer service to assigned accounts.
Job Description
- Drive within assigned route to work product from store back stock or delivery loads; aiding sales reps in stocking, handling beverage cases, and working products the company represents.
- Service between 4 and 10 accounts each day.
- Provide excellent customer service to assigned accounts.
- Develop and maintain positive, cooperative and team-oriented relationships with co-workers, supervisors, managers and others you encounter throughout your job.
- Fill cold boxes and shelves with appropriate merchandise, and rotate product on an ongoing basis.
- Maintain the back-stock area to allow for a safe and efficient work environment.
- Organize back stock to ensure accurate order writing for sales.
- Build displays in stores and maintain POS (point of sale) marketing materials.
- Interact in direct communication with store personnel and salespeople.
- Accurately clock in and out, adhering to state labor laws.
- Work with merchandising and sales team members on a continual basis to train, support and evaluate needs.

REQUIREMENTS
Reliable transportation with a clean driving record and current insurance.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees and the general public. Maintain a good rapport with other employees.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all unites of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate and percent.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Computer Experience is required. Knowledge of MS Excel is required. Knowledge of MS Word is preferred.
