Mercury / Yamaha Certified Marine Technician - Nautical Ventures

• Perform diagnostics and repair of Mercury (or Yamaha) engines and transmissions.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on engines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Mounting and rigging of all major outboard brands.
• Install and repair volt systems.
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Inventory control of materials used for the job.
• Maintain tools and supplies in safe operating conditions.
• Handle any customer inquiries promptly & courteously.
• Stay current on industry trends and advancements.
• Provide labor and time estimates for repairs.
• Inspect and test vessels for necessary adjustments.

• Completion of Mercury (or Yamaha) Marine Engine Certification program.
• Previous experience as a marine technician working with outboard engines.
• Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment.
• Knowledge of the factory warranty process.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Deadline and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Not objectionable to working outside.
