Location: Various locations across Georgia
As an M&A Lawyer, you will guide clients through the complexities of mergers, acquisitions, and other significant transactions. You will be responsible for advising on deal structures, conducting due diligence, negotiating agreements, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on the legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
- Conduct thorough due diligence and assess potential risks and liabilities.
- Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, including purchase agreements.
- Coordinate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals during transactions.
- Provide strategic advice on deal structuring and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Membership in good standing with the provincial Bar.
- 4+ years of experience in mergers and acquisitions law, with a strong transactional background.
- In-depth knowledge of M&A law and related corporate regulations.
- Proven ability to manage complex transactions and work under tight deadlines.
