About the Job
Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Metallurgical Engineer in Decatur, IL. The work will be done onsite. This is a long term contract. It can lead to permanent employment with our customer. Compensation is $32/hr + OT including benefits, vision, dental, health insurance, 401K and holiday pay. Cullerton Group will provide sponsorship.
This position will require the engineer to work within the Failure Analysis & Met Lab groups and contribute to the immediate AMT Decatur team as well as internal & external process partners.
Part or project identification. Material management. Print interpretation. Test plan development. Nondestructive evaluation. Destructive evaluation & testing. Documentation. Communication. Work with laboratory, internal quality engineers, external suppliers & customer.
Education & Experience Required:
Technical Skills

- Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical or Materials Science Engineering
- Preferred candidates would include 3+ years of previous experience
